Dahlia – Procyon (Loose Tuber)

Dahlia Procyon is a delightful decorative variety which produces bright yellow-orange flowers with darker red tips on the petals. The large flower heads are sure to create a stunning display throughout the summer months whether planted in a garden border or in patio containers, as well as providing beautiful cut flowers for the vase. Height 120cm and spread 50cm. Flowers June to September.Ideally plant in a sunny garden border, bed or patio pot in a sheltered position. When the plant is in full flower it can be cut for an excellent cut flower display. Height 120cm. Plant after frost, Dahlias are not frost tolerant.To ensure you can enjoy your plants in future years, and in areas where there is extreme cold, lift tubers and store in potting compost over the winter. Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
