Dahlia – Duet (Loose Tuber)

Dahlia Duet is a beautiful bi-colour decorative variety which produces large flower heads in a combination of scarlet and white. The large flower heads will create a superb display during the summer months whether planted in a garden border or in patio containers and the long lasting flowers make excellent cut flowers for the vase.Ideally plant in a sunny garden border, bed or patio pot in a sheltered position. When the plant is in full flower it can be cut for an excellent cut flower display. Height 120cm. Plant after frost, Dahlias are not frost tolerant.To ensure you can enjoy your plants in future years, and in areas where there is extreme cold, lift tubers and store in potting compost over the winter. Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
